Stingaree Band

Welcome to the Levi Fry Intermediate Stingaree Band! Did you know that the trombone is one of the oldest brass instruments in history? The earliest trombones, made in the 15th century, were used mainly in military settings. Throughout history, famous trombone players such as Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and J.J. Johnson have played this unique instrument. The trombone has a special place in the history of music, and we’re excited to help you become a part of that history.
